Laboratory

Computer Science, Physis, Chemistry, Zoology

  • Adequate laboratory facilities are provided to all science departments. The laboratories are spacious, well planned and equipped with sophisticated instruments to meet the requirements of students and teachers. Laboratories of Computer Science , Zoology, Physics and Chemistry are equipped with modern instruments. The Language Lab in the department of English is available for students. There is a separate lab for Post Graduate course in Environmental Sciences. A Materials Science Research Lab is attached to the department of Physics.

Transport Facilities

Jayam Arts and Science College operates buses for the convenience of students and staff coming from in and around Dharmapuri. This transport facility is also used for various educational purposes like field trips, industrial visits and recruitments. The existing bus routes are given below: Adequate transport facilities are provided for day scholar students in the surrounding areas of Dharmapuri. A well staffed transport department maintains the transport schedules, maintenance and safe transit to the students

  • Buses are plying for both boys and girls from Anchetty, Bommidi Rayakottai, Karimangalam, Kambinallore, Nerupur, Eriyur, Pennagaram Palacode ,pappurapatti and Dharmapri for the benefit of the remote area students.
  • Each bus is equipped with mobile phone, first aid box, fire extinguisher and emergency exit
  • Nominal bus fare equal to government.
  • Bus facility is provided throughout the year to students, faculty and the staff. No Charges for the faculty and staff.

LIBRARY

Our college library is fully automated and we have 12000 books are available in various subjects in our college library. DELNET/ INFLIBNET facility is also available; Previous years Magazines and journals back volumes are also maintained in library.
