About the Sports

The Physical Education was established in the year 2015. It tries to spread the values of physical excellence and train students in various games and fitness activities. Its core functions are organizing competitions, tournaments, and intramural and intercollegiate sports events. The department coordinates the game and sports activities of the affiliated colleges and provides opportunities for the students to demonstrate their competence in inter- collegiate sports meet sports day is conducted every even semester with various activities.

Objectives

• Educating students on the fundamentals of physical fitness, fostering sportsmanship, promoting teamwork, and cultivating individual skills
• Guiding and coaching students in a variety of sports and physical activities
• Educating students on the significance of maintaining a well-balanced lifestyle such as nutrition, stress management, injury prevention, and the benefits of engaging in regular physical activity
• Organizing Events, Competitions, and intramural and intercollegiate sports events
• Managing and keeping an eye on sports facilities, equipment, and resources needed for extracurricular activities and physical education classes
• Collaborating with various departments within the institution to incorporate physical education with other programs
